The Crow Alert™ driveway alarm is a wireless detector/receiver kit that allows you to detect vehicles via a buried probe sensor. The buried probe with detect moving metal objects up to 12 feet away. Once movement is detected, the probe alerts the weatherproof transmitter to send a signal to the received from up to half a mile away. Its accuracy has been tested in real-world settings to ensure it only detects large metal objects, i.e. cars. The sensor can also be adjusted to avoid interference from smaller objects. The customizable receiver has 12 chimes and tones to choose from, from pleasant tunes to loud sirens, it can tell you if a friendly visitor has arrived or an intruder is on your property. The receiver can paired with up to 8 probes and transmitters to cover larger propertoes. Power for the probe and transmitter is provided by an internal rechargeable battery inside of the transmitter that is recharged via the built-in solar panel on top of the transmitter or with the included charging cord. The receiver is powered by plugging it into standard wall outlets or can be run on two (2) AA batteries in case of power outages.
